Optical rosettes

Fiber optic rosettes are devices used in fiber optic network installations, especially in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) environments, to connect and protect fiber optic cables and pigtails. These rosettes facilitate the organization and connection of fiber optics, allowing for high-speed, low-latency data transmission.

There are several types of fiber optic rosettes, such as:

• 2-port flanged fiber optic rosette: Designed for protected connections of fiber cables and pigtails in FTTH, with two slots for fusion sleeves and two ports, one with a metallic flange for RISER cables and the other for an SC adapter.

• 1-port pre-assembled optical rosette: Ideal for protected connection of fiber cables and pigtails in FTTH, with one port for optical adapters and another for drop cable.

• Fiber optic rosette with 2 SC simplex: Designed to house 1 to 2 SC simplex and LC duplex connectors, and is compatible with different installation configurations.

• 1-port outdoor fiber optic rosette: Used to connect, splice, and protect the Drop cable in outdoor installations, requiring an SC Simplex adapter and 2 SC fast connectors.

• Fiber Optic Terminal Rosette for surface outlet adaptation: Designed to act as a cut-off and test point in a communications network, it incorporates a Keystone module and a female "SC/APC" Simplex FO adapter with an internal shutter.

In addition to these, there are other options that offer innovative solutions for fiber optic connection in FTTH networks, reducing incidents at the subscriber's home by up to 90%. Empty rosettes are also available, such as the empty 2 SC simplex / LC duplex fiber optic rosette, which is valid for 1 or 2 SC simplex / LC duplex connectors.
