Conical manholes can be round, square, or rectangular. They are stackable prefabricated structures used in telecommunications, electricity, gas, and drainage installations, among other applications. These manholes are designed to facilitate installation and improve work time, making them ideal for heavy traffic, confined spaces, and installations in vehicular traffic areas.
These manholes lack full support at the bottom, but by compacting the base and adding a 15 cm gravel bed, they withstand vertical loads well and are an excellent option for places with heavy rainfall due to their good drainage.
Conical manholes are made from resistant and lightweight materials, such as fiberglass and polymer concrete, which provides them with high resistance to compression, extreme temperatures, and humidity. Additionally, they are easy to install and do not require special equipment for handling, which reduces installation costs.
