- 3M 2178 splice closures are hermetic and offer great capacity for managing loose tubes and fiber optic splices. Ideal for outside plant (underground or aerial).
- The 2178 is designed with interchangeable halves of different capacities with the flexibility to expand for the future.

- The 2178 series is robust and rigid, tested under real-world conditions, and more severe conditions of humidity, vibration, and extreme temperatures.
